Mickon
Mickon is a maester in service to House Targaryen at the Red Keep, working alongside Grand Maester Mellos.
He is known chiefly for his part in tending to King Viserys, when the two maesters disagree over how to treat a wound that will not heal.

Mickon joins Grand Maester Mellos in examining an infected wound on King Viserys's back. Mellos proposes bleeding him to ease the affliction, but Mickon disagrees.
In his view, cauterizing the wound would serve better than a bloodletting, and he says as much to Mellos in the king's presence.
