House Brook was a royal house of Dorne from the age before the Andals arrived, tied to the course of the Greenblood and the region's eastern coast.
Its lords bore the title of High King of Dorne, one among several who shared that honour before Dorne answered to a single power.

Before the Andals crossed the sea and reshaped Westeros for good, twelve houses held sway over Dorne from their seats along the Greenblood and the eastern coast. House Brook was one of them.
Like its neighbours, it took the title of High King of Dorne, a dignity that carried no single rule over the region but marked one lineage among several equally old. Nothing survives to describe its rule, its lands, or its people.
Chapter 2
The rebellion without a trace

At some point a rebellion broke out among those twelve houses, and three lineages did not survive it. Whether House Brook was among those lost, or instead carved out a kingdom of its own once the fighting ended, is not known.
Nothing further is recorded of its descendants, nor is there any certainty that anyone bearing its name remains today.
