House Broome is a noble house of the Westerlands, sworn to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock.
Its name became tied to one of the earliest religious uprisings against the Iron Throne, when it sided with the Faith of the Seven against the crown.

When the Faith of the Seven rose against the Iron Throne, House Broome stood with it. King Maegor I Targaryen answered by burning the seats of the houses that had opposed him, and the Broome castle was among those that burned under Balerion's fire.
