House Leygood is a minor house of the Reach, sworn to the Tyrells of Highgarden, bearing three black thunderbolts on a tenny field.
Almost nothing of it is recorded beyond a single trace: the device of a thunderbolt among Randyll Tarly's troops, glimpsed by Brienne of Tarth before the gates of Maidenpool.
Chapter 1
Andals in the Reach

The Leygoods trace their line to a band of Andal adventurers who settled in the Reach. The Gardener kings Garth IX, Merle I, and Gwayne V granted them wives and lands, and the house arose from that settlement.
In time they swore fealty to the Tyrells. No source credits them with a castle or seat of their own; their presence in the region is tied to no known stronghold.

The thunderbolt at Maidenpool

Randyll TarlyWhen Brienne of Tarth arrives at Maidenpool, she notices before the city's portcullis a soldier among Randyll Tarly's forces wearing the device of a thunderbolt.
It is the only recorded mention of a Leygood during the War of the Five Kings: a name reduced to a badge among another lord's troops.
