The Eastern Provinces are a region of Essos, and the point marking them covers a wide area rather than an exact spot. The nearest place is Jinqi, about 130 leagues to the southwest, while the Golden Empire of Yi Ti lies some 165 leagues to the west. The Mountains of the Morn are about 200 leagues to the southeast.
