Mistwood is the seat of House Mertyns, standing on Cape Wrath within the Stormlands. Its most notable feature is the Owl Tower, which held the private chambers of the lord of the castle.

During the First Dornish War, a cask of wine sent from Dorne killed Lord Mertyns and his entire household. They drank from it without knowing it had been poisoned, and the whole line of the lord of Mistwood was wiped out at a stroke.
