Morosh
Morosh is a place-name that the Atlas's sources barely record: there is no chronicle of the location itself, only a name that happens to match that of a Myrish mercenary mentioned in the saga.
That mercenary, sharing the same name, served under Stannis Baratheon's banners during the war for the Iron Throne, and his mention is the only trace the name leaves in the written sources.
Chapter 1
The mercenary who shares the name
Books only
Under the name Morosh there is no record of streets, people, or customs: the only thing the sources preserve is a Myrish mercenary also called Morosh, hired by Stannis Baratheon for his bid on the Iron Throne.
That man was present when Melisandre set fire to the sept of Dragonstone, one of the few moments where his name appears alongside the war's larger events. Of the place that shares his name, though, the saga says nothing more.
