Red Dunes is a desert region of Dorne that lends its name to a minor lordship, the Lord of the Red Dunes, held by House Vaith from its seat at Vaith.
Nothing else survives about the place beyond that borrowed name: no account describes it or tells of anything happening there.

Spanish nameWe worked it out
The Spanish name is the atlas’s own reviewed translation, not the one in the published Gigamesh edition, which does not fix it.
