Seagard

Seagard is the seat of House Mallister, set on the western coast of the Riverlands near the source of the Blue Fork of the Trident. It is crowned by the Drunken Tower, whose bronze bell has warned the countryside for generations whenever ironborn sails are sighted.
Chapter 1
The ringing of the Drunken Tower

Seagard was raised to hold the ironborn back from a coast they had raided for centuries. The bell of the Drunken Tower had gone three hundred years without ringing when, during the Greyjoy Rebellion, ships of the Ironborn approached under Rodrik Greyjoy.
The attack never took the castle. Lord Jason Mallister beat it back and killed Rodrik beneath the city walls.
Chapter 2
The siege of Seagard

Robb StarkWith Robb Stark dead, Jason Mallister remained one of the few river lords who had not yet bent the knee to the Iron Throne. Black Walder Frey laid siege to Seagard to change that.
The siege did not last long: threatened with seeing his son Patrek hanged, Mallister surrendered the castle. Father and son ended up prisoners within their own walls.
