The Painted Mountains

The Painted Mountains are a mountain range in Essos that separates the Dothraki Sea from the Lands of the Long Summer and from cities such as Mantarys and Tolos.
Along their eastern edge runs the demon road, a stretch of the old Valyrian roads, and a river rises in their slopes and flows down to the Sea of Sighs.
