Ulthos
Ulthos is one of the four continents of the known world, and the least known of them all: no one has charted its coasts or its borders with any certainty.
It is placed south of Essos and east of Sothoryos, separated from the Shadow Lands by a stretch of sea. Of the rest, almost nothing is known.

Almost nothing is known of Ulthos beyond its position: south of Essos, east of Sothoryos. A stretch of sea, the Saffron Strait, separates it from the Shadow Lands and Asshai, and within those waters lies the isle of Ulos.
No one has described its interior in any detail. The one thing repeated by those who speak of it is that it lies under dense forest, with nothing more said about what those canopies might hide.
Even its size is disputed. Some claim it as vast as Westeros; others insist it is no more than a large island. For most, the known world simply ends before reaching its shores.
