House Cerwyn of Cerwyn
Casa Cerwyn de Cerwyn
House Cerwyn of Cerwyn is a noble family of the North whose castle stands little more than half a day's ride from Winterfell. For generations they were counted among the Starks' closest retainers, and their blazon — a black battle-axe on a silver field — marks a small but warlike house, sworn to the words "Honed and Ready".
Their history becomes bound up with the Northern campaigns of the war that follows Eddard Stark's death, a conflict that tests every bannerman in the region.
