House Fisher

Casa Fisher de Isla Brumosa

House Fisher of the Misty Isle ruled the Riverlands long before the Targaryens crossed the sea, holding the Misty Isle on the God's Eye as their seat and the title of River King.

Whether it shared blood with House Fisher of the Stony Shore, another line with the same name and a very similar fish on its arms, remains unknown.

Chapter 1

The oldest, or the third?

Books only

Some chronicles mark it as the oldest line ever to sit on the throne of the Riverlands; the River Annals, however, place it as the third dynasty to rule the region. The sources disagree, and there is no way to tell which is right.

While they held power, they claimed the lands at the mouth of the Blackwater, ground that later river kings would also fight to hold.

Chapter 2

The end of the River Kings

Books only

Before the Targaryens ever reached Westeros, House Fisher of the Misty Isle was overthrown and its bloodline lost in wars against either the Storm Kings or the Ironborn; the sources cannot agree on which of the two ended their rule.
