House Lannett of Lannisport is a minor house distantly related to House Lannister of Casterly Rock, whom it serves as a vassal.
It lives in Lannisport, the port of the Westerlands it shares with other minor lines sprung from the same stock, and blond Lannister hair still shows up in about half its members.

The Lannetts are one of the minor branches that grew in the shadow of Casterly Rock as distant kin of the Lannisters. They live in Lannisport, the port they share with other families of the same stock, such as the Lannys or the Lantells, and blond hair betraying that blood still shows up in about half of them.
Tradition holds that during the Age of Heroes the Lannisters had grown so numerous that Casterly Rock no longer had room for them all. Rather than dig new halls into the rock, several of these distant branches built their homes in a nearby village, which prospered over the years into Lannisport. Among the families that gave rise to that port were the Lannetts.
