House Norrey
Clan Norrey
House Norrey is one of the mountain clans of the North, First Men people settled away from the direct rule of the lowland lords. No fixed seat is recorded for them, and their chief is known as the Norrey, though at Winterfell he is given the courtesy of a lord. Their history in the chronicles of the realm is bound to the great wars that pull the mountain clans down from their highlands and into the south.
Chapter 1
The slaughter at the Ruby Ford

When war comes down from the mountains to the river, the Norrey are swept along with the rest of the northern host toward the Ruby Ford. Many of their people are left behind on the south bank, still waiting to cross, when the attack falls.
The Lannister force under Gregor Clegane strikes that rearguard before it can reach safety. The clan's losses in that crossing are among the worst it suffers.
Chapter 2
The march to Deepwood Motte
Books only
Years after that defeat, the Norrey come down from their mountains again, this time to join the cause of Stannis Baratheon. The king has landed in the North seeking support among the clans and the lesser houses.
Alongside his men, the Norrey march in the campaign that retakes Deepwood Motte from the ironborn. It is the last word the chronicles give of them.
