House Towers was a royal line of the North from the days before the Andals arrived, descended from the First Men.
Their place in history is defined by their rivalry with the Starks, the house that would eventually depose them and extinguish their line.

Before the Andals crossed the Narrow Sea, House Towers held a crown in the North. They ruled as kings in an age when the region was divided among several lines of the First Men, each with its own lands and its own quarrels.
Among those quarrels, the one that pitted them against the Starks of Winterfell proved to be the one that sealed their fate. The Starks defeated them and, in time, wiped out their line entirely, and it vanished from the history of the North.
