Stark

Not to be confused with Stark (son of Rickon).

Daughter of Torrhen Stark, the last King in the North, this Lady of the Eyrie appears in no source under her own name — only as the wife her father gave to Lord Ronnel Arryn.

The match was one of the marriages Queen Rhaenys Targaryen arranged among the great houses of the realm her brother Aegon I had just forced together, tying House Stark to the Arryns of the Vale.

Chapter 1

A wedding to seal the realm

Books only

After the War of Conquest, Rhaenys Targaryen sought to secure the peace of the newly formed realm by marrying the great houses of its different regions to one another. Torrhen Stark agreed to give his daughter to Lord Ronnel Arryn, Lord of the Vale and former King of Mountain and Vale.

Letters kept at the Citadel suggest Lord Stark only gave in after much protest, and that his sons refused to travel to the Vale for their sister's wedding.

Chapter 2

The death of Lord Arryn

Books only

Early in the reign of Aenys I Targaryen, Ronnel Arryn was murdered by his own brother, Jonos Arryn. Whether his wife, the daughter of Torrhen Stark, met the same fate is not known.
