Bloody Gate

Puerta de la Sangre

The Bloody Gate seals the High Road, the only way through the Mountains of the Moon into the Vale of Arryn. It isn't a single gate: twin towers linked by a grey stone bridge, with two long stone breastworks cut into the mountainside, all crowded into the point where the pass narrows.

It's commanded by the Knight of the Gate, who by custom asks every traveler who wishes to cross it who they are.
