Uplands
On this tab
Uplands is the castle that seats House Mullendore, in the Reach, northeast of Oldtown.
Its place in the kingdom's history rests on a single recorded royal visit: one Jaehaerys I Targaryen made through the area while he waited for a new High Septon to arrive.
Visit of Jaehaerys I
In 54 AC, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen was waiting in Oldtown for septon Alfyn to arrive and be anointed High Septon.
He used the wait to tour several points of the Reach near the city, among them Uplands, along with Bandallon, Three Towers, Honeyholt and the Arbor.
