Whitegrove is a castle in the Reach, held by House Peake. Only one episode of its history has survived, and it is the one that decided who owned it and why.
Chapter 1
The price of a side
Books only
Lord Gormon Peake, lord of Whitegrove, took the side of Daemon Blackfyre when he rose against King Daeron II Targaryen. The revolt took its name from him: the Blackfyre Rebellion.
Once the rebellion was crushed, Daeron II stripped House Peake of both Whitegrove and the family's other castle, Dunstonbury. The crown confiscated them as punishment for backing the losing side.
What became of the castle afterward is unknown, and so is whether any house holds it today.
