Yin

Before any other, Yin rose. The Yitish built it at the mouth of a great river, where its waters mix with those of the Jade Sea, and in time it became the most glorious of their cities.

Its place on the map set it at the heart of the eastern trade routes: southeast of Qarth, west of Jinqi, and linked by sea to Asabhad to the northwest, a crossing merchants have made for generations.

Under the emperors of the pearl-white, grey, and indigo dynasties, Yin ceased to be merely the first city of Yi Ti and became its capital, seat of the Golden Empire across whole generations.

That place has been reclaimed of late by the sky-blue emperor Bu Gai, who has restored Yin to the capital rank it once held.
