Loboda
Loboda was a Thenn warrior who took command of his clan as Magnar after Styr, his predecessor, died in the attack on Castle Black. Under him, the Thenn settled at Hardhome, one of the last strongholds of the Free Folk north of the Wall.
When Jon Snow, Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, and Tormund arrive at Hardhome to offer the wildlings safe passage south, Loboda is the one who turns the offer down.
Chapter 1
The new Magnar
Show only
Loboda survived the Thenn assault on Castle Black, the night his Magnar, Styr, fell in the fighting. With his leader dead, command of the clan passed to him, and Loboda became the new Magnar of Thenn.
Under his lead, the Thenn left their valley and made their way to Hardhome, joining the other Free Folk groups seeking shelter on the coast, away from the Night's Watch and from whatever was moving further north.
Chapter 2
The fall of Hardhome
300 ACShow only
At Hardhome, Jon Snow and Tormund meet with the leaders of the Free Folk to offer them passage across the Wall to safety. Loboda hears the offer and refuses it, unwilling to trust the Night's Watch or its terms.
As some of the wildlings accept the deal and begin boarding the ships, the White Walkers and their wights fall on Hardhome. Loboda gathers his men and fights back, but he is killed there, cut down by one of the White Walkers.
