Lord Footly
Lord Footly was the head of House Footly and the lord of Tumbleton during the Dance of the Dragons, the civil war that pitted the Targaryens against each other for the Iron Throne.
His decision to open Tumbleton's gates to the black faction turned the city into a target and dragged his house into the rawest part of the conflict.
Chapter 1
The black city
Footly welcomed the black forces into Tumbleton when the war broke out, placing his house and his city behind Queen Rhaenyra against the green faction.
His loyalty did not last: at the Battle of Tumbleton the city was betrayed and his troops were left defenseless before the greens. Footly's soldiers laid down their arms and surrendered, but it did them no good — they were captured and beheaded regardless.
After the defeat, Tumbleton and its castle fell into green hands, and the city was occupied by the victorious troops.
Chapter 2
A sword that makes widows too

Jon RoxtonDuring the occupation, Ser Jon Roxton took a fancy to Lady Sharis, Footly's wife, and claimed her as spoils of war. When Footly protested, Roxton cut him in half with his sword Orphan-Maker, said it could make widows too, and tore off Lady Sharis's gown.
Footly died at Tumbleton in the year 130 AC and was succeeded by a posthumous son, born six months after the Second Battle of Tumbleton. Lady Sharis maintained the boy was her late husband's rightful heir, but it is not clear whether he was fathered by Footly or by Roxton, who raped her repeatedly after the occupation.
