Steffon Swyft is the heir of Ser Harys Swyft, lord of Cornfield, and father of Joanna Swyft.
He served as a knight on the Lannister side during the War of the Five Kings, first in the defence of King's Landing and later in the campaign to lift the siege of Riverrun.

When Ser Jaime Lannister marched out of King's Landing at the head of the force sent to break the siege of Riverrun, Steffon rode with him and was left in charge of the supply wagons.
At the banquet held to mark Jaime's arrival at Darry, he restaged that battle with the food on the table.
