Banefort is the castle that gives House Banefort its home, at the western edge of the Westerlands.

It stands on the coast, north of Casterly Rock, close enough to the Iron Islands that only two days by ship separate it from Pyke.

The castle stands on the western coast of Westeros, within the Westerlands, north of Casterly Rock. It is the seat of House Banefort, the family that gives it its name.

Its position places it facing the Iron Islands: between Banefort and Pyke, the seat of House Greyjoy, lies barely two days' sail.
