House Banefort of Banefort

The house traces its line back to a hero known as the Hooded Man, said to have lived in the days of the First Men.

Later, in the Age of Heroes, one of his descendants, Morgon Banefort, claimed to be a necromancer, until King Loreon I Lannister defeated him.

During the war told in A Clash of Kings, Arya Stark sees House Banefort's sigil as Lord Tywin Lannister marches out of Harrenhal, a sign that men from Banefort rode among his troops.
