Blackcrown is the castle of House Bulwer, standing in the southwest of the Reach on the shore of the Whispering Sound. Oldtown and Three Towers lie nearby, along that same stretch of coast.

Under the name Blackcrown stands the castle that serves as the seat of House Bulwer. It occupies a corner of the Reach's southwest, hard against the northwestern shore of the Whispering Sound, with Oldtown and Three Towers as near neighbors.

Twisted towers above the cliff

Its defining feature is the row of twisted towers crowning it, set above a cliff of rock the wind has carved over time. Among those rocks a steady whistle sounds, over the noise of the waves breaking below.
