Blacktyde is the northernmost of the Iron Islands, set within the waters of the Iron Bay. On its eastern coast stands the castle that shares its name, seat of House Blacktyde and the seat of the island's rule.

Blacktyde lies at the northern edge of the Iron Islands archipelago, its shores set within the Iron Bay. Like the rest of the islands, it is home to ironborn.
On the island's eastern coast stands Blacktyde castle, seat of House Blacktyde. From there they rule the island and its people.
