The Cape of Eagles is a spit of land in the Riverlands that juts into Ironman's Bay, pointing toward the Iron Islands.
Ruled by House Mallister, it marks the passage ships must round on their way north along the coast, toward the Neck.

Ironborn held this spit of the Riverlands for generations, until House Mallister seized most of it from them during the reign of Torgon Greyiron, King of the Iron Islands.
The stretches still in ironborn hands fell later, under the Greyiron kings who succeeded Torgon.

Maege MormontDuring the War of the Five Kings, Robb Stark, by then proclaimed King in the North, sent Maege Mormont and Galbart Glover on a mission by sea: to sail from Varamar with Mallister ships and round the Cape of Eagles to reach Greywater Watch, hidden in the Neck.
