Coldwater is the seat of House Coldwater, a stronghold in the Vale of Arryn where a river from the Fingers reaches the sea. Its significance is that of many minor Vale houses: a name on the map, sworn to the Arryns, with no recorded history beyond the place it occupies.
Location
The castle stands in the Vale of Arryn, on the coast of the Fingers, at the point where a river meets the sea. It is the ancestral seat of House Coldwater, sworn to the Arryns.
South of the castle, separated by a mountain range, lies the Snakewood.
