Kingdoms of the Ifequeveron
Reinos de los Ifequevron
North of the Dothraki Sea, between the plains and the cold of eastern Essos, stretches a band of forest that the Dothraki themselves call Ifequevron: the walkers of the wood. No one today knows who those walkers were or what became of them, save the name they left fixed to the land and the ruins of a single city on the northern coast.
Chapter 1
The walkers of the wood
Books only
The name Ifequevron is not something this people chose for themselves: it is Dothraki, and it means walkers of the wood. That is what a people on horseback once called another that lived among the trees, long ago.
Nothing else remains of that people beyond the word their plains-dwelling neighbors gave them. No chronicles of their own, no direct testimony — only a name that still marks a forest on the maps of Essos.
Chapter 2
Borders of forest and river
Books only
The region lies north of the Dothraki Sea and east of the Kingdom of Sarnor, a forest standing between the southern plains and the cold waters of the north.
Its eastern border is drawn by a river that rises in the Womb of the World and separates it from another forest further east. To the north, its coast fades into the Shivering Sea.
Chapter 3
Vaes Leisi, the ruined city
Books only
On a peninsula along the northern coast stands the only known trace of an urban presence in these woods: Vaes Leisi, a settlement now in ruins.
What remains of it are carved trees and caves people call enchanted. No one has told who built it or when it emptied out — only that it still stands there, among the wood and stone, waiting for anyone who comes close enough to look.
The physical world
Está delimitados al este por un río que nace en el Vientre del Mundo y que lo separa de otro bosque más oriental, y al norte por el Mar de los Escalofríos.

What we are not sure about
Spanish nameWe worked it out
The Spanish name is the atlas’s own reviewed translation, not the one in the published Gigamesh edition, which does not fix it.
