Lonely Light

Luz Solitaria

Lonely Light is the seat of House Farwynd, the most remote and least understood branch of the ironborn lords.

A fire that never goes dark crowns its tower, guiding ships toward a distant island where the tales told of its people are almost as numerous as the seals along its shores.

Chapter 1

The beacon at the edge of the Iron Isles

Books only

The stronghold takes its name from the flame that burns without rest atop its tower, visible to any ship bold enough to sail so far.

It stands on a tiny islet set apart from the Iron Islands, eight days' sail northwest of Old Wyk. Around it there is nothing but rocky shoals crowded with seals and the open ocean.

Chapter 2

People of another blood

Books only

House Farwynd and the smallfolk they rule are said to be strange even by ironborn standards.

Some claim they couple with seals and that half-human children come of it. Others say they are skinchangers able to take the shape of sea lions, walruses, or whale sharks, creatures known as the wolves of the western sea.

The physical world

Se encuentra en una pequeña isla perteneciente a las Islas del Hierro que se encuentra a ocho días de navegación al noroeste de Viejo Wyk, rodeada por roqueríos llenos de focas y océano.
