Sevenstreams is a small village in the Riverlands, under the rule of House Frey. It takes its name from the source of the Blue Fork of the Trident, where seven principal streams gather before the river grows into one of the great watercourses of Westeros.
Two men carry the village's name along the riverlands roads: Tom of Sevenstreams and Ser Pate of the Blue Fork.

The birthplace of the Blue Fork

The village sits where the Blue Fork of the Trident rises. Seven streams of some size meet there, joined by a smaller network of side channels that give the place its name.
It falls under House Frey, lords of the lands around the river's upper course.

Two men left Sevenstreams known by their birthplace rather than a family name. Tom of Sevenstreams and Ser Pate of the Blue Fork carry the name of this village and of the river that rises beside it wherever they go.
