The wedding and the tourney at Whitewalls

In the year 211 Lord Frey attended the wedding of his daughter to Lord Ambrose Butterwell, held after the young woman had been deflowered by a kitchen boy. To mark the union, Butterwell arranged a tourney at Whitewalls.

Lord Frey brought to that tourney his son and heir Walder, his brother Franklyn, and other kinsmen of the house.

Chapter 2

The Second Blackfyre Rebellion

The tourney became the starting point of the Second Blackfyre Rebellion. Once the plot was uncovered, Lord Brynden Rivers showed mercy to Lord Frey and allowed him to return to his lands.
