Shandystone
Shandystone is a ruined castle in Dorne, now little more than fallen columns, triple arches and a dry well that has stood empty for over a century.
Those stones have served, at different times, both for a family lesson and for a quiet gathering among the Martells' closest allies.

A lesson among the ruins

Oberyn MartellLittle is left of Shandystone but stone: toppled columns, triple arches and an abandoned well, with no one living there for over a hundred years.
On one visit to the place, Oberyn Martell brought his daughters Tyene and Sarella Sand, along with his niece Arianne Martell, and taught them there how to draw venom from serpents.

A gathering of allies

Myrcella BaratheonAs an adult, Arianne Martell returned to the ruins of Shandystone to meet with her trusted circle and with the knight Arys Oakheart, in a gathering aimed at the coronation of Princess Myrcella Baratheon.
