Sharp Point
Punta Aguda
Sharp Point is the seat of House Bar Emmon, raised at the tip of Massey's Hook, in the Crownlands.
It is a tall tower, built like a lighthouse, with a great fire burning at its top that sets it apart from the other strongholds along the coast.

A tower at the tip of the Hook

The Andal warrior Togarion Bar Emmon raised Sharp Point when he conquered Massey's Hook, and made it the seat of his house.
The castle was built as a great tower resembling a lighthouse, with a fire burning atop it that marks its silhouette along the coast. In time, the lands he ruled became part of the Storm Kingdom.
Chapter 2
The oath to the Targaryens

When Aegon Targaryen began the War of Conquest, the Bar Emmons of Sharp Point swore him their loyalty.
Because of that oath, their lands ceased to belong to the Storm Kingdom and became part of the newly created Crownlands.
