The Singing Stones are a small group of islands within the Summer Isles, lying in the Summer Sea west of Omboru and north of the Three Sisters.
They take their name from a natural phenomenon: wind passing through the holes of their weathered rocks produces a sound that the islands' people use to read the direction of the wind.

The stones that sing to the wind

The rocks of this archipelago have spent centuries being worn down by the wind. Their peaks, jagged and riddled with holes and channels, let the air pass through in a particular way: when the wind blows, they whistle and hum with a strange melody that gives the islands their name.
Those who live there have learned to read that sound. The song changes depending on where the wind comes from, and the islanders can tell direction apart by the pitch of the stones, using nothing more than their ears to find their bearings.
No one knows whether that shaping of the stone is the work of gods or of men. The wiki leaves the question open, and nothing here settles it either.
