The Giant's Lance is the tallest mountain in the Vale of Arryn, its peak lost in the clouds. The Eyrie, seat of House Arryn, sits atop it, and the Gates of the Moon stand at its base.

The mountain rises in the northern half of the Vale of Arryn and is the tallest in the region; its summit stays hidden in cloud most of the time. At the very top sits the Eyrie, seat of House Arryn.
Alyssa's Tears runs down its western face, and at the mountain's base, where the ground levels out, stand the Gates of the Moon.
