Velos
Velos is a ruined city on the southern coast of the Isle of Cedars, facing the Gulf of Sorrows.
Its remains are one of the traces that the Doom of Valyria reached beyond the Freehold itself, striking the neighboring islands as well.

Remains on the Isle of Cedars

Velos sits on the southern side of the Isle of Cedars, facing the Gulf of Sorrows. It is not the only ruin in the area: unnamed remains lie to the north, and beyond them the ruins of Ghozai.

The wave that came from Valyria

The island, it is said, did not escape the Doom of Valyria: a wave three hundred feet high crashed over the coast and left Velos as it stands now, a name attached to empty stones.
