Zabhad is a port city on the Isle of Elephants, standing where the Jade Sea meets the Cinnamon Strait.
It is known chiefly through the travel letters of Lord Corlys Velaryon, which place the shan of the island's ivory palace there.

Corlys VelaryonNorth of Zabhad, on the island of Great Moraq, stands Moraq's Landing. Zabhad itself lies on the Isle of Elephants, at the point where the waters of the Jade Sea meet the Cinnamon Strait.
Its existence is attested by Lord Corlys Velaryon, who mentioned it in letters written during his voyages. According to those writings, the shan who rules the Isle of Elephants lives in an ivory palace, most likely located in Zabhad itself.
