Corbray
Lord Corbray was head of House Corbray and Lord of Heart's Home during Robert's Rebellion.
His death after the Battle of the Trident set his two eldest sons against each other over how his titles and his sword were divided.
Chapter 1
Blood at the Trident

Lord Corbray had three sons, Lyonel, Lyn and Lucas, when he marched to war alongside Robert Baratheon.
He was wounded at the Battle of the Trident. It was his eldest son, Lyonel, who carried him off the field to the maesters waiting behind the lines, while his second son, Ser Lyn, took up the family sword, Lady Forlorn, to lead a charge against the Dornish forces.
Chapter 2
A divided inheritance

Lord Corbray never recovered from the wounds he took at the Trident. When he died, his lands and the title of Lord of Heart's Home passed to Lyonel, as befit the heir.
The sword, however, stayed with Ser Lyn, who had carried it in his father's last battle. Lyonel never accepted this: as the firstborn, he believed Lady Forlorn should have been his.
