Horas Harroway
Horas Harroway was a member of House Harroway, simple of mind, who lived in King's Landing while his relative Lord Lucas Harroway served as Hand of the King under Maegor I Targaryen.
His name remains tied to the purge the king ordered against his kin, one of the cruelest chapters of Maegor's reign.

It is not known for certain whether Horas was the son, brother, or nephew of Lord Lucas Harroway, Lord of Harrenhal. What is clear is his kinship to the house and that he was simple of mind.
While Lord Lucas served as Hand of the King, Horas lived in King's Landing, close to the seat of power his relative occupied beside Maegor I Targaryen's throne.

The Harroway purge

When Queen Alys Harroway miscarried, King Maegor took the Harroways for traitors and ordered the execution of every member of the house.
Most were thrown into the pit surrounding Maegor's Holdfast, where they died impaled on spikes. That was Horas's fate: he lay dying for days before death claimed him in King's Landing.
