House Brune of the Dyre Den

House Brune of the Dyre Den is a noble family seated at Sharp Point, in the Crownlands, sworn to the Baratheons of King's Landing. A related line of the same name appears to have branched off further inland, at Brownhollow.
The house surfaces twice in the wider history of the realm: once in a dynastic war fought between rival Targaryen claimants, and later in a clash of armies on the banks of a great river.

The brothers who pacified the coast

That calm did not hold. Over time the region drifted back into the same disputes those brothers had once managed to settle.
