On Gran Wyk, under the lordship of the Goodbrothers of Hammerhorn, stands a second house bearing the same name: the lords of Corpse Lake. It is a minor family of the Iron Islands, born as a branch of that greater line and sworn to it.

The Goodbrothers of Corpse Lake answer to their kin at Hammerhorn, the head of the whole Goodbrother line and the greater lords within the Iron Islands. The house takes its name from the castle it holds, raised beside the lake that gives it its name, on the island of Gran Wyk itself.
