Blazewater Bay

Blazewater Bay cuts into the western coast of the North, between Cape Kraken and the Rills, and narrows westward until it becomes the Saltspear.
More than one fleet has used that funnel of water to reach the heart of the Neck without crossing Westeros by land.
Iron Fleet's Route
Victarion Greyjoy crosses the bay at the head of the Iron Fleet, hugging the narrows by the Saltspear to push inland along the Fever River.
The point of the maneuver is Moat Cailin: reaching by water a place others would have to march to through the Neck.

Victarion sails back across the bay, this time returning to the Iron Islands, to be present at the assembly that will decide who wears the driftwood crown.
