Fawnton
Fawnton is a village in the Stormlands, probably located in the Dornish Marches, and the seat of House Cafferen. Its place in the history of Westeros comes down to a single event that took place there: a wedding remembered as one of the most brutal episodes of the First Dornish War.

The wedding Wyl of Wyl turned into a massacre

In the year 12 AC, Ser Jon Cafferen married Alys Oakheart at Fawnton, his family's seat. Wyl of Wyl arrived uninvited and turned the ceremony into a massacre: Lord Oakheart and most of the guests were killed that same night.
Ser Jon was castrated in front of his bride. Lady Alys and her handmaidens were raped by Wyl's men, who afterward sold them to a slaver from Myr. It stands as the single most infamous act of the First Dornish War.
