Flint's Finger is a castle in the North, on the coast of Brightwater Bay, and the seat of House Flint of Flint's Finger.
Its position, near Cape Kraken and the Flint Cliffs, sits on a stretch of coast long contested with the ironborn of the Sunset Sea.

Before it was northern land, Flint's Finger was one of the ironborn's main strongholds on the Sunset Sea, a foothold for their hold over that coast.
That hold was lost centuries later, when Gerold Lannister the Great, King of the Rock, defeated them and stripped them of control over the region.
