Grimston
Grimston is the castle that serves as the seat of House Grimm, raised on the isle of Greyshield, within the Shield Islands.
Its place in the history of Westeros comes from the fighting that took place beneath its walls during the struggle for the Shield Islands.

The challenge beneath the walls

During the fighting over the Shield Islands, Grimston endures a siege unlike the others. Ser Harras Harlaw plants his standard beneath the castle walls and challenges its defenders to settle the fortress's fate in single combat.
Harras defeats seven men one after another, two of whom yield before the end. The castle's septon reads the outcome as a verdict from the gods and surrenders Grimston to Ser Harras without a pitched battle ever being fought.
