Koj
Koj is one of the Summer Isles, lying off the coast of Westeros within the Smiling Sea.
Its renown comes not from war but from the sea itself: most Swan Ships are built there, and its princes keep some of the most complete charts of the known world.
Chapter 1
The Pearl Palace
Books only
Koj lies south of Westeros, off Lotus Point, looking northeast across the Smiling Sea toward Bird Island and Omboru. It is one of the Summer Isles, and like the rest of them keeps its back turned to the wider known world.
The Pearl Palace is home to the princes who rule the island. The building holds a collection of maps and sailing charts said to be among the richest in the whole archipelago.
Chapter 2
The finest gunners
Books only
Koj gave the Summer Isles their greatest shipwright, Prince Malthar Xaq. The island has kept that legacy alive ever since: three out of every four Swan Ships come from its yards, and its crews are still reckoned the finest gunners in the archipelago.
Islanders tell stories of Koj's own sailors charting the western coast of Sothoryos all the way to its southernmost edge, coming upon strange lands and stranger peoples, and even braving the endless waters of the Sunset Sea. No one can say how far any of those voyages truly went.
The physical world
El Palacio de la Perla es la sede de los príncipes de Koj, siendo famoso por su gran colección de mapas y cartas de navegación.

What we are not sure about
PositionWe worked it out
The position was inferred from the label on the base map rather than from a symbol of its own: it marks the area, not the point.
