Ryamsport is a coastal town on the strait between the Reach and the Shield Islands.
It enters the historical record through a single episode: its sack at the hands of the Ironborn after the fall of the Shield Islands, during the War of the Five Kings.

Once the iron fleet had taken the Shield Islands, Ryamsport lay directly in its path and met the same fate as the islands: the invaders came ashore and sacked the town.
The port sits on the strait separating the Reach from the fallen islands, leaving it within easy reach of the Ironborn as soon as they secured that position.
